Player Class Redesign (18)

  • Line Infantry
  • »The new Musket Drill trait makes the line infantry reload 15% faster, but have 15% slower movement speed while reloading.
      • » The line infantry now gets a hammer for repairing. » The line infantry can now equip a sword. - Grenadier » The grenadier now has a grenade ability, meant to stun enemy players. It can be activated using Q. » The grenadier can now equip a sword.
  • Light Infantry » A new Dash ability that increases forward movement speed by 25% for 10 seconds when activated using Q. » The new Versatile trait increases musket reload speed by 10% and accuracy by 10% while the bayonet is removed. » Removed the old movement speed buff and melee debuff.
  • Rifleman » A new Steady Aim ability that prevents movement, zooms in, and increases accuracy by 50% for 5 seconds when activated using Q. » Increased rifle cartridges from 20 to 30. » Increased headshot score. » Made rifle tracers longer and more visible.
  • Flag Bearer » Increased melee damage for the bearing flag.
  • Surgeon » Increased healing speed. » Increased healing score.
  • Musician » The musician now increases movement speed of nearby players by 2.5%. The buff stacks with multiple musicians for up to 5%. » The musician can now buff every class, including ship crewmates. » Removed the old musician buff behaviour. - Carpenter » The carpenter now has an explosive satchel, specialized in destroying physical structures. It can be activated using Q. » Palisade props now cannot be damaged via normal melee weapons, except the carpenter's 2H axe. » The carpenter's 2H axe now always swings in 3 direction, and can block. » The berserk ability has been removed from the carpenter. - Sapper » Many new sapper props, including different earthworks variants, different palisade wall variants, palisade gate, palisade towers, snake rail fence, piano, light pole, flag. » The swivel gun can now attach to palisade wall props. » Sapper materials are now assigned per sapper player instead of being shared in a pool per faction. - Artilleryman » The cannoneer and rocketeer classes have been merged into a single artilleryman class, preserving all score, uniforms, and traits from both classes. » Artillerymen can now spawn directly on artillery spawn sections, claiming the artillery so that no one else can use it. The spawn section follows the moveable artillery, but resets back to HQ if the artillery gets destroyed. » Moveable artillery can now be damaged using any melee weapon. » The artilleryman now gets a hammer for repairing. » The artillery man now gets a carbine and a pistol. - The carbine now has shorter range, shorter reload time, and less starting ammo. It now excels at medium range. - The pistol now has even shorter range, but can kill consistently at point blank range. - Reduced pistol specialization trait damage buff from 25% to 10%. - Buffed officers and surgeons no longer survive point black range shots.

Known Issues

  • Searching for a regiment that does not exist and then clearing the search can cause loss of controller navigation in the regiment registry.
  • Text fields with very long texts can cause the contents to become offset which sometimes causes the text field to appear empty even when it is not.
